Megaminx Hexagonal Prism

Puzzle Details

Another very exact build from Chino. It is very nice to turn and can be compared with Tony Fisher's Hexaminx. Also the complexity of this Megaminx transformation is comparable. It can be solved like a common Megaminx, but because of its shape shifting nature it is confusing to solve. Because it has not only rectangular unicoloured pieces, but also on the top and the bottom three trapezoid pieces with the same colour (all of them originally Megaminx edges) and a isosceles triangle each (a Megaminx corner), there are various reasons, why you can run into parity issues at the end of your solve.
A nice challenge with a high quality puzzle, makes fun to play with, as it nearly doesn't lock up once you've understood what Megaminx the corners and edges are.

Weight: 205g
Size: height: 6.2cm, hexagon edge 3.8cm,
hexagon diameters: edge-to-edge 6.4cm, corner-to-corner: 7.4cm
