2 Layer Mini Cheese

Puzzle Details

One of the early tries of a 3D print. The result was inititially not very satisfying, because the gaps between the core pieces and the outer shells were too small and it was not possible to twist the 60° pieces. So it was sold only as Mini Cheese instead of 2-Layer Mini Cheese. Some sanding improved the movement significantly.
Another issue of this puzzle are the gaps between the 60° pieces, which were too large and the too small lips, which hold three of the six parts in the puzzle. The loose gaps between the puzzles could be decreased by some self-adhesive tape, but so far there's no solution for the small inner lips. So the puzzle must be twisted with care to avoid that it falls into pieces. Anyway a nice work.
